So everyone I know seems to go camping. It seems it is the thing to do. I don't like not doing the "cool things." And the campsites seems so fun... lakes, pools, etc! Dan bought a tent last summer, so I think the next logical thing is to go camping. How hard can it be, right? So I was discussing this with my mom, dad, and sister. As nicely as they could, they basically tell me I am not cut out for tent camping. They all are, but not me. Dan tells me the only way he will take us camping is if we last all night long in the backyard. I love to prove him wrong, and I have a great opportunity coming up where we can go camping. So, we have a family camp out in the back yard. So much fun was had, until about 9:00 pm, where we all four ended up scared in our bed. I think we need some more practice! In the above picture, the kids are peeking out of the tent, it just didn't show up in the picture!
