The Beach

I just got back from 3 nights at the beach with my 4 best friends from college. Oh, so fun. I just love these girls. We already have our next trip planned for November! We laid on the beach, relaxed, shopped, ate, all the wonderful things you do without any responsibilities. Good thing Daphne was there because she kept the us in clean towels! She's the most responsible of the group!

Trip to Tn

Thursday, Day 1...


Pack up the car, go eat Johnny's Pizza, go to playdate at Henkels, head to Jackson to meet Cindy and Kids and Mom and Dad. Dan comes to spend the night at look at a car.

Friday, Day 2...

Load up the cars. Michael with Gigi and Poppy, Cindy and I with Emily, Andrew, and Anna! Meet at Alabama Welcome Center. Emily gets stung by a bee getting Anna away (Anna is allergic to all bugs). Emily saved uus from a trip to Emergency room. Poppy decides to leave us. We stop too much! On to Pottery Barn! Eat lunch at McDonalds, then to Chattanooga. Kids traveled great! The kids go to see the goats. Don't like the way they smell. Find donkey. Everyone loves Jack, the donkey. What else to you name a donkey? Everyone feeds the donkey. Anna and Micheal much more successful than Emily and Andrew who scream and throw the food everytime the donkey comes for the food. Off to bed. 3 little ones want to sleep in camper! Andrew really wants a camper!

Saturday, Day 3...

Off to the playground, and then to the mall for some shopping. Really great buggies you can rent. Home to dinner at Couches BBQ! Play with Shawn and family and go to bed early!

Sunday, Day 4...



FAMILY REUNIONS...Leave early in AM, and drive to Tullahoma (middle TN) to see Dad's 2 older brothers and their families! Then to Robinson Family Reunion (mom's family). So fun to see everyone! Head home. Long day, but soo worth it. Kids love it (even Michael), and Emily wants to move to Tennessee. She said she wanted to move to Jackson the last time we were there for spring break. Easy kid to please!

Monday, Day 5...

Dad, Cindy, and her 2 kids head home. Michael had All Stars. Mom, me and kids head to downtown Chattanooga. Go to Children's museum and play in fountains. Anna is furious I didn't bring her bathing suit. I will know better next time!

Tuesday, Day 6...

Uncle Eddie takes us to see the cave and Lost Sea. So cool! Espeically for the boys. Anna thougt she would be scared, but ended up loving it! Andrew had to tee tee half way threw, so I ended up begging for one of the workers (teenage boy) half full Mountain Dew bottles. I told him he would understand one day! Andrew went home with a bow and arrow and Anna with Jewels. They were both thrilled!

Wednesday, Day 7...Head back to Jackson exhausted! Play at Grandma's. Camera is dead!

Thursday, Day 8...Come home even more exhausted, and glad to be home (with Daddy)!
